I've Almost Finished

Its about time i finished school, which is what ill be doing in less than 2 weeks... FREEDOM, i cant wait, ive been waiting for school to finish ever since i started. but before i finish ive got a few tests to finish, a star course to attend and a trip to paintball, which i wont be going to. anway, im gonna go get a drink, so.... bye

I seem to be getting lazy, ITS BEEN 3 MONTHS

A lot has happened over these last 3 months, i really have enjoyed most of it... I got back from a youth group camp on Sunday (started Friday) I had to be the sound guy 5 times that weekend... FIVE TIMES, and then i had music practice again today, I'm so sick of being sound guy; it’s about time I had a break. Anyways, back to the camp. I went to some natural thermal pools in a place called "Hanmer" (a lot of people pronounce it "Hamner" man, do they get it wrong) I used the time at camp wisely (just as a wise man would), i got to know some people better, didn’t kill anybody, shared a room with other computer nerds (or "geeks" if you so desire), I helped pack up, set up, pack up and set up again(we stole most of the churches gear). So overall, the camp was incredibly fun and only a little blood was spilled.
on Monday we had a big snow storm, I have never seen a snow storm close my school in my entire life, but I was gonna take the day off anyway
And now for the closing argument: Statistics show that smoking is the leading cause of statistics


I want to know if anybody actually reads these, so if you do, post me a comment just to say you were here, I could get your email, then your phone number, then your address, then we can get married, have children and live happily ever after... either that or i keep stalking you, which ever one is easiest

2 months already... really?

wow, its been over 2 months since my last post, how did I ever survive? ok... heres what i can remember about the last 2 months: very little
1. I just Remembered the game (If you dont know what this strange game is then just comment and ask)
2. I just completed an introductory course in Dreamweaver (web design program)
3. We just had some really cool preachers at church, 2 at the same time, both prophetic, they told me i will be a wise man in a counsil setting (or something like that)

And thats all I can remember, there probably is more, but MEH

Another Month (almost)

Its been quite a while since ive updated this blog, so i think ill do that now... well i just came back from an NCYS leaders training camp in Hanmer so im very tired right now. Anyway, this is the second time ive been on one of these camps (the first one was better, i could tell you bout that one but im way too lazy/tired). i think ill finish this blog some other time, im still very tired.

Another update for another short period of my life

this week... well, one of my friends came back from australia his blog of interesting tales can be found here, and another friend was in a car accident, she was hit by a drunk driver, shes got a munted leg (as well as a munted car) and she is supposed to be out either yesterday or monday.

anyways... this was a very short post, mainly because I am too lazy to type anything else... I do have other things I could type but... Nah, and right now im waiting for a download to be complete so I can publish this... it'll be done soon... oh the joys of dial-up... still waiting... la de da... and done.

It Be Sunday

2 days ago I had a birthday party, it was okay, got lots of chocolate, more money and deodorant (I think they were hinting something). We had a movie (Spiderman 2) and 3 xbox's, 4 people stayed overnight, 1 of them snored which was okay since he was in a separate room.

Last week I was a leader on a holiday programme, it was fun... yelling at small children is tiring

My Dog Ran Away... or did she

Today was an interesting day with the disappearance of my dog, we (me, my brother his girlfriend and their mates) spent a while trying to look for her, but she was nowhere in sight... mainly because she was asleep in my mums (moms in American) room.

My birthday

Tuesday the 19th of April, the anniversary of the day of my birth. Im excited, so far ive got $150 and a whole lot of biscuits and lollies. My party will be on the 29th (straight after a holiday programme, in which i am a leader).

Its about time I updated again

well, this has been an interesting week, last saturday I went to a leaders training day at NCYS (North Canterbury Youth Services). It was sooo incredibly fun, They called it The Amazing Race (how original), we went driving all around Christchurch, we had to complete some challenges (this was in teams by the way). we had to take some pictures of different things, I went rock climbing, the other 2 members of my team (John and Angie) went rafting on the avon river aswell as a whole lot of other stuff. each of the challenges were worth points, and although we got back to The Venue first, we came second overall, not a bad effort. GO TEAM

And...
Its 4 days till my birthday(my birthday party is on the 29th, Im having a sleepover) and its the last day of the term today so i got 2 weeks of holidays ahead. YAY

Oh The Pain (again)

Well I had my other ingrown toenail half removed on tuesday, this time a trainee docter did it, while the proffesional docter talked him through it. Since I got a bit of a commentary, I got it done for free... so Im happy

Not Again

I have another ingrown toenail, its also infected... its really painful. I'll hopefully get it cut out this week sometime, till then i'll try not to kick anything.

Eastercamp

I went to eastercamp, which for those who dont know its a camp that runs over easter (hence the name). The theme for this year was "His Name Is Freedom". It was fun, but not as fun as the eastercamps Ive been to before, especially the eastercamp of 2001* (it wasnt fun at the time, but now that I look back on it, it was) anyway this year was grood (great and good), a few friends of mine decided to try to hook up a couple of other friends, that didnt work out too well, considering that they didnt even like each other that much in the first place. Other that that there isnt really too much to say, eastercamp seems to be getting worse each year. however the meetings were still fun, I went with Kaiapoi Baptist and the place where we generally were in the main meetings was front-right... Right next to the bass speakers (that was entertaining in itself). The band (satellite) was as grood this year as they have been most other years (I like their older songs better, which you can download from the eastercamp website). So overall this year was fun, but not too fun.


*eastercamp of 2001 - the year we got rained out... the weather was fine for most of the time except on the last night/day when we had a massive rainfall with really cold winds, it was horrible to pack up,I think people may have even got hypothermia, but its one of those memories where I will look back and laugh.

Oh The Pain!!!

I just had my toenail pulled out a few days ago because it was ingrown, its quite a fascinating and painful experience, personally I wouldnt reccomend it to anyone. so this is my plea to you... CUT YOUR TOENAILS STRAIGHT!!!!!!

All The Little Experiences

Today a stray cat walked into my house (through the cat door, which was locked in a way which animals could get in, but not out)... I have a dog, not a big dog, but its still a dog. my dog scared the stray cat so much that after it tried to escape (almost breaking the cat door), it jumped onto the bench, then the extractor fan above the oven, then into the sink, then onto the floor, then back onto the bench, then back onto the fan, then back to the floor and out the door (which I had opened while all this was going on).
While the cat was jumping around it knocked a few things off shelves and broke four eggs (I could have made a cake with thoose eggs).

Being Myself

Most people may think of me as crazy, and they are right, im crazy and loving it.
There is no reason for me not to be crazy.
I love being crazy, very few other people do, but who cares about what they think.

God

Ok so im a christian, and proud of it (which i shouldnt be, it says in the bible that I shouldn't be proud). anyway, there is nothing like the feeling that hits you when you are in a prayer meeting (or other such event) and God shows up, its just awesome.
